What is the “Factory Mezzanine” project?
The factory Mezzanine project was conceived to inspire young people interested in electronics. Situated in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region, we have dedicated a space in our factory to the service of businesses and teachers. College and university students, future engineers, doctoral students and all education professionals will be able to organise courses here. This is a fully glassed-in space in the heart of our 2000 m2 factory. This classroom can seat around 30 people and is the ideal place to forge a partnership between the worlds of education and industry.
Why the Factory Mezzanine?
The idea is to revitalise the relationship between students and teachers in a place that has often been forgotten – the factory. This project gives meaning to the notion of “practical work”. It links theory and practice in the same place.
« As professionals, we take great pleasure in sharing our experience. It’s a different way of seeing the industry than through books, and it is rewarding for our team to share their skills with younger people who are hungry for knowledge. It can even create a calling to our field, because many of us in the industry are passionate enthusiasts. The world of work remains abstract for many young people, so if we can sow the seeds to grow their enthusiasm, our objectives will be fulfilled. »
